The location of the hotel was wonderful, in the restaurant which was excellent. Besides, it was just next door to the garden for smoking, Swindon and Lechlade.

We had an excellent 4-star experience here. The double room we stayed in was extremely spacious for quality of facilities provided. The location was incredible, not too far away from North Meadow.

I truly enjoyed the hotel, everything was good here. Had generous sized brand-new room with very comfy bed. The location was ideal on the Thames and the staff here was friendly attentive and efficient. It was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Harbour Fish and Chips, serving fast food. The food they offered was outstanding, had a lot of meals.

Our stay at the Red Lion was fantastic. The new owners were friendly and enthusiastic, despite the recent difficulties they faced. The fluffy towels and crisp bed linen added a touch of luxury. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The management and staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the bar had a great selection of drinks, including some delicious beers brewed on site. The room itself was spacious and had a traditional feel, with a comfortable sofa to relax on. The Sunday roast was out of this world and the bread and butter pudding for dessert was simply divine. The pub had a cozy atmosphere and the large garden would be perfect for summer. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great all-round experience.

One minor drawback was a bit of noise issue with the neighboring room's TV, but the owners promptly dealt with it. However, these were not major issues and did not significantly impact our overall positive experience during our stay.

The hotel was in a central setting to the cotswolds. There were a huge variety of restaurants to eat, like C & r Grocers that was only 10 minutes' walk away.
